I love the hair bagging method .. Lately my hair has been dry as ****. I didn’t matter how I moisturized my hair .. nothing worked. So yesterday i tried the bagging method and I love it!!!. I moisturized my hair with ORS Moisturizing Hair Lotion and covered my hair with a shower cap. I left it long for some hours .. I was watching some reality shows .. I am a reality junkie *sadface*. I watched 3 show so you can say I left it on for 3 hours. My hair felt good and the important part was no breakage .. yes no breakage when I was combing my hair * happyface*. So this morning I had to test my hair again .. and yes no breakage .. I’m happy this method will definitely be my go 2 method when my hair is actin’ up.

HOT OIL TREATMENT
I started with hot oil treatment. I have been looking for the best oil to use. Ugh there are so many options. So I decided to use my regular oils. What are my regular oils … well coconut, castor and olive oil. I used coconut oil for the length of my hair and my mixture of castor and olive oil (that I wanna finish) for my scalp. I warmed the oils up with hot boiled water and left it on my hair for 40 minutes. I love the way how my looks so shiny .. Let see what other benefits is has for my hair.
I used Tresseme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Shampoo. I’m in loveee with there conditioned but I never used the shampoo .. so it was about time. I was my hair in 2 sections. It make it easier for me to wash my hair. I like the shampoo but I’m not in love with it yet. I’m planning to use this shampoo for the whole month.
Before my hair journey I was ADDICTED to the creamy crack (relaxer). So when I started my hair journey it was hard for me to stretch my relaxer .. but with some great tips I found my way. I’m now at the point that I stretch my hair to 24 weeks ..
Im proud of myself for stretching so long .. but I decided to stop stretching to 24 weeks. I see that I’m more focused on stretching so long then taking care of my hair *sad face*. This couple of weeks my hair has been breaking and shedding like crazy and I think it has to do with my stretching.
This weekend I can finally relax my hair .. I’m 24 weeks post. But after this no more long stretching. My new stretch regimen will be 12 – 20 weeks. It’s funny instead of building up I need to build down.
For some time now I have been thinking about switching my relaxer. For years I have been using ORS no-lye relaxer and I love it .. don’t get me wrong .. but I have seen some ladies (my relaxed hair gurus on YouTube) using the lye relaxer. So I did a little research for myself to see what the differents are between a lye and no-lye.
Based on the information that I read about both relaxers I decided to switch relaxer. Why?? Well I texlax my hair now .. soo I don’t relax my hair bone straight and I like the fact that the lye relaxer is not harsh on the individual hair strands. I hope that the lye relaxer will work out for me
